Behind the Design: The Origins Earring Collection
Every piece of jewellery begins with a feeling. The Origins Earring Collection was born from a desire to create something that connects us back to the roots of beauty, craft, and individuality, a celebration of where it all began for Nile & Nova.
The word origins felt right from the very start. It speaks of beginnings, of heritage, and of the stories that shape us. For me, this collection represents the meeting point of inspiration from two worlds — the timeless artistry of Egypt and the effortless elegance of Italy — woven together to form something new, something that feels both grounded and expressive.
The Inspiration
When designing the Origins Collection, I wanted each pair of earrings to carry its own personality while staying connected through one idea: timeless individuality. Every woman has her own story, and I wanted these pieces to complement those stories, not overpower them.
The inspiration came from so many places: the geometric patterns found in Arabic architecture, the soft curves of Roman sculpture, and the balance of strength and grace that I see in women every day. I wanted that blend of power and poetry to live within each design, modern, but still meaningful.
